Pr. Alex and Faith returned to Uganda to begin serving the community through leading a local church that had only 16 members at the time. this is where Transform African Ministries was established. The church was then called Luzira Community Church.
In January 2013, the church was relaunched to a bigger and better location in the middle of Luzira and acquired a bigger tent. The name of the church then also changed to match the vision of being a city church there of our name became The City Church Luzira.
The ministry sponsored its first student Isaac to pursue tertiary education. This was also the year we begun to give young girls a safe haven at the first hope house. Isaac now leads praise and worship at the City Church and continues to run his own business in Kampala.
Pr. Alex and Faith responded to a call from God to start a Christian school for the children the community. they launched this with the help of their friends, the Fields.
God blessed the ministry with a new property in the heart of Luzira where we hope to have all our projects so that we can effectively serve the community in Jesus name.
