Esther Adeke is a 16 year old girl currently under the care of Hope House, she's in senior two and her birthday is on 4th May. Esther joined Hope House because she used to stay in a single roomed house with her mother and sister. Her mother couldn’t afford to pay for the rent and their school fees. Then one day their house collapsed which meant that they had nowhere to live, that’s when Esther joined Hope House.

Being at Hope House has enabled Esther to concentrate on her studies. She has also picked up skills such as baking, tailoring and urban farming which can come in handy when she would like to start a business.

Esther was a shy girl who had a hard time socializing but now she has a ton of friends at Hope House, at school and at church. She's also part of the Teen's choir at The City Church. She has transformed for the better.
